The simplicity of God’s Word often makes it easy for men to stumble at HIM. When The Word of God is viewed by a believer as an inanimate object, satan strikes quickly by picking it away as an evil bird before it mixes with faith in his or her heart and benefits the hearer.
As English students, we were taught to use the pronoun “IT” to replace noun (a thing or an object) in a sentence but biblically, using “IT” to describe God’s Word is wrong because the Word of God is GOD HIMSELF!
Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1-12
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
“In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.”
“He was in the beginning with God.”
Friends, the more we look at God’s word as ordinary, the more difficult, it will be to value, honour HIM and even live by Him. We must align ourselves with HIM in order to maximally benefit from all His Word spoken over us, this year.
Take a moment, reflect on this!
Recall any scripture, agree in your heart and spirit with The Holy Spirit that, that Word is God and not mere letters, that since God cannot lie or fail, neither will His Word; watch your level of alertness and seriousness to scriptures change positively and your faith level increase drastically.
Beloved, God has exalted His Word above all His Name. Psalm 138:2
His WORD is His Bond and will NEVER fail. Read the Bible daily, search out His Word, surround yourself with Him and walk therein!
Heaven and earth will pass away but not one jot or tittle of His Word (which is God) will go unfulfilled! Matthew 5:8.
