MOUNTAIN MOVING FAITH

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
Faith is strongly believing God and acting on His word amidst contradictory opinions, thoughts and circumstances. It portrays total confidence in God and His word.

Dearly Beloved, there is no better time to exercise our faith in Christ than now.
We are grateful to God for giving every believer a proportion of His faith at salvation. That is why He said, “If our faith is the size of a mustard seed, it will move mountains”. (Friends, Mustard seed is actually the smallest seed of all, it is one or two millimeters in diameter and it has great benefits when used). Thus, having faith of that size and exercising it to draw down and miraculously move God’s Hand over us, is one of The Father’s graceful delights. (Matthew 11:23-24, 17: 20, Ephesians 2:8, Romans 12:3)

However, great faith is not automatic because faith grows with on God’s word and regular use. It is therefore imperative for every believer to practice faith. (Romans 10:17)

Jesus asked if He would find faith on the earth when He returns. (Luke 18:8)
This, I believe, is because of the distressing and overwhelming circumstances to be witnessed in the world during that time, which might almost stiffen out faith, if not for the special grace of God upon the lives of His children.
Praise God Almighty! the time will be cut short before our faith fails! The Father loves us so much to lose any of us!

Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Our walk with The Father is all about faith in Him and Him alone. (Hebrews 11:6)
Tottering, rising, falling, standing and sitting characterize the learning process of child about to walk but when taking a step at a time steadily is mastered, sprinting soon follows. Deploying our faith for regular use is similar and we must never give up trying!

Faith matters so much to God because it accelerates our compulsory and much needed spiritual growth.
When we do not practice faith as believers, we do not only deny ourselves of its great and rich benefits, we also deny others like families, nations, friends and the church, most significantly, the Body of Christ. Moreover, the Just shall live by faith. (Matthew 8:5-13, Mark 4:35-41, Mark 7:24-30, 1 Kings 18:41-46, Acts 6:5, Acts 28:5-6, Acts 12:5-17, Hebrews 10:38)

STEPS TO FAITH THAT PLEASES GOD

1. Have God’s word for what you desire to receive from God.
2. Believe God’s word.
3. Consider not the contradictory circumstances.
4. Give praise to God for the answer.

Friend, it is time to use our faith now like never before.
God bless you all as you remain full of faith!!

Shalom!
